Where 'I' became 'we'
The Shema House is a community house based in Chicago that I co-founded in 2006. It originally was created to provide a home-base for a small band of neighborhood volunteers, and family structure for neighborhood teenage boys.
Together we learned many of the lessons that were formational to Love Without Agenda’s network. It accomplished some incredible good in the neighborhood—and is still going strong in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, providing hospitality for travelers and a fabulous live/work space for LWA’s current team.
