Wanna build together?
I’m building a one year financial FoodShare bridge
to stabilize operations while long-term funding aligns
Hola friends,
If you’re here, we probably already have some history.
2025 was an unprecedented year in Chicago. Demand for food exploded and exhausted our financial and coordination reserves.
Some organizations can absorb a year like that. We cannot—yet.
Your support helps rebuild our capacity so food continues moving safely to at-risk families when demand spikes.
2026 also offers expanded food access — but only if we have the capacity to receive it.
Spring is coming — and without added capacity, the math simply doesn’t work.
2026: Our FoodShare Bridge
2025 wasn’t a normal year for the FoodShare or Chicago. It brought a pattern of pressure, literally to our doorstep. Cuts to food assistance and neighborhood ICE patrols became ‘normal’ life for us in 2025.
It’s 2026. I'm still right here—standing steady with all my neighbors, inside the blast radius.
How Support Helps
Your support goes directly toward Love Without Agenda’s work coordinating safe food access for Chicago families — and it plays a unique role.
While church partners and businesses help rebuild our capacity, your support.helps us meet immediate needs and responsibly receive increased food supply when it becomes available.
After 20 years, Trader Joe’s is offering us up to 5× more food — if we have the capacity to receive it. It’s a rare and meaningful opportunity.
In 2026, FoodShare grant funding, my consulting work, and long-term infrastructure will realign — but that cycle takes time.
That’s why a 2026 FoodShare Bridge matters now: so we don’t miss this moment simply because capacity lagged behind opportunity.
20 years of local impact
Every year our volunteer team redistributes 250k worth of food from Trader Joe’s.
No fancy trucks. No storage. No waste. The food we pickup at 10am is in family fridges by 2pm.
100% Tax deductible
Did you know?
Since 2006, flowers remain one of our most cherished items.
We’re not just sharing food, we’re sharing dignity.
